every saturday
i make breakfast. my weekdays are so busy in the morning that i can
never find the time to fix breakfast other than oatmeal, green smoothie
or grab a yogurt. i love eating breakfast and so i look forward to saturday mornings.
skillet breakfast
potatoes
onions
eggs
homemade salsa
cheese
throw potatoes and onions in a hot pan with olive oil. i cook on high until they are golden. then i turn it on medium until the potatoes are tender. then i add the eggs until they are done. then top with cheese and salsa.
smoothie
fruit
frozen fruit
no sugar added apple juice
blend ingredients and then you have a yummy nutritious smoothie.
oven bacon
lay bacon flat on a foil lined cookie sheet.
preheat oven to 400* immediately place bacon in oven.
set your timer to 20 minutes.
walk away.
come back when the timer goes off.
fun fact: you can add a little brown sugar to the bacon for a kick of sweet.
