a branch in the bush: it's foggy

Once a week I head out in the village, no matter how cold, and my camera and I go on a mini adventure.  The winter has me locked inside and cabin fever has set in.  Today the ice fog was thick.  I love the sun trying to break through the fog in the background.

This is the frozen Chukchi Sea with markers for the snow machines.  They are putting in the ice road right now.  We should be able to drive our vehicles on it next week.  Everyone loves it when they put the road in.  It allows everyone to get out of the village to another village in the comfort of their own car.

  2. Are you guys enjoying the heat wave? I'm hoping we're not getting anymore freezing spells before spring!

    2. I watch the weather in the AM and always watch for Kotz wondering how you guys are doing. I was happy for you guys when it warmed up to 30 from -30 :). It feels like spring here, but it's supposed to cool off next month. Have fun!
